Welcome to the home page of Optegwyr Radyr/Radyr Eyecare.

We are an independent opticians based in the Cardiff suburb of Radyr. Our aim is to provide the very best in professional eyecare, in a relaxed and friendly environment well away from the pressures and bustle of a busy city centre.

We’ve put these pages together for two reasons. Firstly, to explain a little more about the practice,- who we are, what we do and where you can find us.

Secondly, to provide information about eyesight, spectacles and contact lenses. We’ve put information here about a number of different topics —you can see the full list on the left.

Good vision and healthy eyes are, I think, important to every one of us. I hope these pages will give you some useful insights, answer a few questions and—perhaps—prompt you to book that all-important next eye examination.
